エコ・ファッションブランド Alternative Apparel

じゃぁファッション続きって事で、最近私の周りで流行ってるお勧めブランドオルタナティブ・アパレル。ペットボトルをリサイクルして作られたTシャツやオーガニックコットンなどを使っていて環境を意識したお洒落エコブランド。Think Earth Tee Shirtを買うと自動的にGlobal Green USAに寄付されたり、プラピやジョニーデップ、ファーギー、ビヨンセなどエコ意識の高いセレブも愛用らしい。テレテレTシャツの着心地最高潮。

ところで最近私のNYの友達や同僚のおめでた率がグーンと上がってます！（年齢的にね…）日本は少子化って聞くけどNYは逆なんじゃないかと思う位周りでポコポコ産まれてる。そしてアメリカ人は出産一週間前とかまで普通に出社してフルタイムで仕事してます。もぅ赤ちゃん飛び出しちゃうんじゃないかと思う位大きいお腹抱えて仕事してるから思わず『大丈夫？』って聞いちゃいます。。アメリカは誰かが妊娠する度にベイビーシャワーと言って、安定期後に女友達が集まりベイビーグッズなどのプレゼントをするパーティが開かれ、お酒飲めないから週末のブランチパーティがメイン。最近は中国製おもちゃにカドミウムが含まれたりしてて、プレゼントする側としても気を付けなきゃいけない今日この頃、Alternative Apparelはオーガニックコットンのベイビー／キッズ服もあるので最近のベイビーシャワーのプレゼントはいつもココで買ってます！ちなみに日本のOnline Shopはコチラ。

最近の買い物事情 and the City

最近もっぱら洋服の買い物はネット。これは最近買ったジャケット。ちょぃキラでレディガガも大好きショルダーパット付きでもってお値段もかわいい$54。私のお気に入りのNastyGalはビンテージ物も売ってるんだけどほとんどが、いや〜それ私着たらコントっしょって物ばっかりなので大抵はShop New。でもカーデガンやアクセなどはビンテージ掘り出し物が結構あるけどね。あ、でも今年公開のSex and The City映画第２弾の女子達が思いっきりビンテージな80年代の格好してましたね。あれは何やらキャリー達の出会いの回想シーンだとか？

Sex and The Cityと言えば、予告編が公開されたり色んな写真が出回ってるけど一番気になるのが４人のお年の召し方じゃないでしょうか？？まぁドラマから何年も経ってるのでしょうがないけど、なんだかショック…。って私も同じだけ年をとってるんだけどね。サマンサ役のキムは５３歳と年相応な感じだけど、一番恐ろしいのが実年齢４４歳のサラジェシカ！最近サラとヒューグラントの新しい映画The Morgansの予告編見けどサラがガリガリでシワクチャでびつくり！（ヒューグラントは元々シワクチャ）特に首元が恐ろしい事になってました…。日本の黒木瞳様（４９歳）見習って欲しいっす。（私も見習います）

Nasty Galはコチラからも。後も１個私のお気にのショップPixie Marketもお勧め。こちらはLower Eastにもお店あってそこも要チェック。メンズなど彼氏にプレゼントなんかはOAKで。アダムの撮影の時もOAK色々お世話になりました♪

OK, I was lazy about writing my blog in English…but some of you kept asking me to write it in English so here I am! The jacket above is what I bought at NastyGal. It has Lady Gaga (or MJ) like shoulder pads and little sparkls make it shiny! What most makes me to love the jacket is it’s only $54…. Yay.  🙂 Anyway I just saw the trailer of “Did You Hear About the Morgans” and was scared of looking at Sarah Jessica Parker’s neck!! (I’m used to see Hugh Grant’s wrinkles) She is super skinny and all wrinkled up! She is 44 years old and I really think she is too young to look like that. Now I’m wondering how she’ll look in the movie SATC #2…

Beyoncé Diva Sunglasses

 

Have you seen Beyonce’s curtain style sunglasses of her music video “Diva”? These are not exactly the same ones but the design duo of Desiree Heiss and Ines Kaag introduced a new pair of sunglasses from their Berlin-based design agency, BLESS. It’s not dark as sunglasses so you can still wear it in a dark club but if you dance hard the chains would hit your eye…

 

ビヨンセのDivaのPVに出てくるクレイジーサングラス、っぽいやつ designed by ベルリンのデザイナー • デュオ BLESS (Desiree Heiss & Ines Kaag)。これなら暗いクラブでかけてもチャンと見えるから大丈夫？踊りすぎに要注意っぽいですけどね。チェーンがきっと目ん玉にあたりますよ。

Yakudoshi Jewelry

My mom gave me this necklace from Etten Eller for my birthday and to wish me a good luck for my Yakudoshi (Mae Yaku). I got it at Barney’s NY last weekend. 

前厄なんですけどね、その後本格的な本厄、更に後厄って３年も厄が続くの？と思うとへこむわー。でもそのおかげでマミーからネックレスもらえたのでラッキー！？ 現金でもらったので余ったお金でBing Bangの指輪も買っちまいましたよん。

oh and I saw a super cute Bing Bang ring and somehow it came home with me…;)  (of course i paid for it!)

What’s Yakudoshi? In Japan, people believe that there are certain bad years in your life based on the Japanese calendar so you have to carry something “long” such as necklace and scarf etc…to avoid bad lucks. 

To quote the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii’s website,

Bad luck years are referred to as yakudoshi, with yaku meaning “calamity” or “calamitous” and doshi signifying “year(s)”. These years are considered critical or dangerous because they are believed to bring bad luck or disaster.
